Dr Bidisha Ghosh (PI) is an Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering, TCD. She is an expert of natural system behaviour prediction using statistical methods, time-series modelling, artificial intelligence algorithms, sustainable transportation and health impact assessment of active travel. She is the Chair of the Irish Transport Research Network (ITRN). She has published over 100 peer-reviewed journal and conference articles. She is the PI of several national and European research projects.
Prof. Brian Caulfield is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering, Trinity College Dublin. He has been active in transport research for over 10 years and to date has attracted €1.2m in research funding from both national and EU funding sources. He has widely published on transport and its impacts on the environment, he has published over 80 journal and conference papers and has a H factor of 21.
Dr. Boban Dordevic is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Civil, structural and Environmental Engineering, Trinity College Dublin. He has completed his PhD in the railway domain at the University of Ljubljana. He has published over ten journal and conference papers. His areas of interest are railway optimization, multicriteria decision making, and sustainable transportation.
Collaborator Mr. Paul Jackman is an IRHA member and on the IRHA management committee. Through the IRHA membership, he has successfully introduced the team to many different Haulage Operations within Ireland. The team doing different types of work on the national and international scene and with full telematics back up to their operation. The results of the teamwork allow for valuable data to be collected for the benefit of the two research projects MAP-HDV and ECO-HDV, the IRHA and its partners TCD and UCD are involved in.
